From Data to Transformation: Leveraging RigorWalk 2.0 to Build Student Agency

School and district leaders play a pivotal role in shaping learning environments that foster student success. In this session, participants will explore how to expertly use the RigorWalk 2.0 metric—a tool that measures both implementation of the Model of Instruction and the level of rigorous instruction and learning in classrooms—to drive meaningful change. Together, participants will learn with and from one another as they practice interpreting data deeply to identify patterns, uncover opportunities, and design logical, intentional next steps that strengthen instructional practices and transform school culture. Attendees will leave prepared to utilize data like an expert and with practical strategies they can take back to their schools and districts to build student agency and ownership of learning—ensuring that the impact of rigorous instruction extends beyond compliance to authentic engagement and empowerment.
