This hands-on workshop engages educators in designing and facilitating cross-curricular and STEAM learning experiences aligned to the Focused Teacher Evaluation Model (FTEM). Participants will actively practice strategies that connect standards-based planning and instruction across content areas while making student thinking visible and purposeful. Educators will leave with practical facilitation strategies they can immediately apply to support rigorous, integrated instruction and create classroom conditions that maximize engagement and learning for students of all ages.

Jennifer Blaetz

Jennifer Blaetz is a dedicated middle school educator with ten years of classroom experience and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. This year, she has completed the NJExcel program coursework and internship earning her principal certification. Beyond the classroom, Jennifer serves as the Student Council Advisor and PBIS Coordinator, where she helps foster positive school culture and student leadership. She is also the school’s cheerleading coach and the Director of the Community Promise Academy after-school programming, designing enrichment opportunities that extend learning, build community, and support social-emotional development. Jennifer brings a well-rounded, student-centered perspective to her work and is excited to share practical strategies and insights with fellow educators.
